CAMS planning rival Oz Rallycross series
The Confederation of Australian Motor Sport has called for expressions of interest to run an Australian Rallycross Championship, as a rival to the new-for-2015 Extreme Rallycross Championship. CAMS, which recently completed a controversial overhaul of Australian motor racing which included stripping Formula Ford and Formula 3 of national status in favour of its own Formula 4 series, and downgrading Carrera Cup from a national championship to a national series.
