Kubica damages a wheel in SS13

Former F1 ace Robert Kubica stopped in SS13 of Rallye Deutschland on Saturday morning after damaging his rear-left weehl. The incident happened 17.8 km into the 45.61km Panzerplatte Long 1 stage, the final one of the loop, when he hit a Hinkelstein. The Pole had been running 23rd overall in his Fiesta RS WRC, on the backfoot before the event even started after picking up a 5 minute penalty for an engine change. He also lost time on Friday with offs in SS7 and SS8, completing the day with no windscreen (see bottom pictures below). It has yet to be confirmed if he will re-join under Rally 2 on Sunday. Disappointment for Robert Kubica, he damaged the rear left wheel in SS13 on a Hinkelstein....
