Meeke: I cannot afford the slightest mistake
Kris Meeke says the pressure is on him not to make a single mistake at Rally Australia and to bring the points home for Citroen after his team-mate Mads Ostberg was ruled out by injury. Ostberg confirmed he would be absent from Rally Australia after suffering a nasty crash during the pre-event recce, where he sustained two cracked ribs. As a result, Meeke inherits the senior role in the Citroen team with rookie Stephane Lefebvre stepping in for Ostberg. Heading into Rally Australia Meeke says he can't afford a single mistake after two consecutive difficult events at Finland and Germany.
