Paddon "close" to 2016 deal with Hyundai
Hayden Paddon says he is “close” to agreeing a deal to drive for Hyundai again next season. Paddon joined the team in 2014, taking in six events in the 'third' car, before agreeing an expanded role for this year. The New Zealander took his maiden WRC podium in Sardinia back in June and off the back of some impressive showings on gravel has been promoted to the 'main' team for this weekend's Rally Australia, swapping with Dani Sordo. Asked about next year and if he has signed up with Hyundai, Paddon replied: “Things are close.
