FIA announces measures to improve safety in rallying
The FIA has announced its conclusions following the urgent meeting called by president Jean Todt to review safety in rallying. Todt called for a meeting on Wednesday to discuss safety following the recent tragedies in the sport, including the latest accident in Spain, where seven people were killed and several others were injured. As part of the meeting, the FIA assessed new measures that could "support and strengthen the efforts of organizers regarding the safety of spectators, drivers and officials".
