Rally Australia Day 2: Ogier Takes Lead from Meeke

Sebastien Ogier came ever closer to taking the 2015 FIA World Rally Championship title by beating Kris Meeke to the lead at the final stage of Rally Australia day two. Meeke led the running throughout the morning but Ogier soon began to close the Citroen driver's lead heading into the final stage of the day, which was held in the evening. Ogier completed the stage 2.7 seconds clear of Meeke, and so the Volkswagen driver has a slim 0.3 second lead heading into the final day's running. Hanging dust in the stage gave the first drivers, including Ogier, a slight advantage, with visibility already lowered by the darkness.
