Andreas Mikkelsen had to settle for fourth on Rally Australia this weekend after picking up a ten-second penalty on the final day. The Volkswagen Motorsport II pilot trailed Citroen's Kris Meeke by 8.8s at the end of the second leg and closed the gap to 4.2s on the opening loop on Sunday. However, he was then penalised after he was a minute late checking into service G. He eventually finished 5.9s back.
