Finland's Latvala leads Finland rally

Finland's Jari-Matti Latvala was leading his home rally on Friday with two stages of the second day remaining. Latvala was 5.4 seconds faster on stage eight of the Finland Rally to take an overall lead of 3.1 seconds from World Champion Sebastien Ogier of France with Northern Ireland's Kris Meeke in a Citroen third. Meeke had been higher placed, but fell back with a transmission problem. Mads Ostberg of Norway was fourth in his Citroen. Belgium's Thierry Neuville pushed his way up to fifth in his Hyundai with Dani Sordo of Spain in another Hyundai in sixth place.
