Ogier repeats as WRC champion

Sebastien Ogier clinched his second World Rally Championship with victory in the Rally of Spain on Sunday. The Frenchman held off Volkswagen teammate Jari-Matti Latvala on Sunday and victory was enough to extend his title lead to an unbeatable 31 points with only the Wales Rally GB remaining in the 2014 calendar. Latvala continued to close the gap on Ogier on the final day, but came up 11.3 seconds short at the conclusion. It was Volkswagen's 11th victory of the season, which equals the record set by Citroen in 2005 and 2008.
