Evans leads, puncture slows Ogier
Britain's Elfyn Evans took the early lead after the first day of the Rally of France in Corsica on Friday as world champion Sebastien Ogier was slowed by a puncture. Ford Fiesta driver Evans won the third special of the day to lead Dutchman Kevin Abbring, driving a Hyundai, by 18.8sec, and Finland's Jari Matti Latvala by 22.9sec in the 11th of the 13 round world championship series. World championship leader Ogier had gotten off to a flying start in the first special -- a challenging 30km climb from Liamone beach on the west of the Mediterranean island up to Carcopino -- but the French driver suffered a puncture on the third special from Francardo to Sermano, to sit 1min 13.2sec adrift....
