Evans 'The Team Deserves This Result'

M-Sport‘s Elfyn Evans has commended his team after securing the best result of his career with second place on the 2015 Tour de Corse, round 11 of the FIA World Rally Championship. The Welshman and co-driver Daniel Barritt responded brilliantly to a poor result in Australia and he is now within two points of  sixth placed Kris Meeke. Evans came into the final day just two seconds off leader Jari-Matti Lavala but with the Welshman lacking confidence in the slippery conditions the aim was to defend his second place from Andreas Mikkelsen. Despite the Volkswagen driver setting faster times than Evans the Ford Fiesta WRC RS driver managed to hold off the Norwegian finishing 3.2 seconds...
