Tanak takes wheel off in SS11

M-Sport's Ott Tanak has retired from day two of RallyRACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada after taking a wheel off in SS11, the second test of the leg. Tanak, who had been running third overall in his Fiesta RS WRC, 9.2s off Jari-Matti Latvala in second, and 16s seconds up on Dani Sordo in fourth, stopped 21.7 km from the end of the 26.26 km La Figuera test after hitting a barrier. Tanak and co-driver Raigo Molder both escaped unharmed.
