Kubica: As a small team impossible to beat factories

Robert Kubica says he's keen to continue fighting in the World Rally Championship after a season of 'progress' but feels he is nearing the maximum his RK World Rally Team can produce. The former F1 star notched up his third points finish of the season at Wales Rally GB to claim 12th in the championship but feels a number of technical issues hampered his progress both in North Wales and over the course of the season. “The only positive thing is that we managed to get to the finish and the pace was good,” Kubica said in Wales. “On the last one the rear tyres were gone and it was oversteering so much.
