Volkswagen has paid tribute to Jost Capito, who will be leaving the manufacturer after nearly four years in favour of assuming a senior role within the McLaren F1 Racing team. The 57 year-old has enjoyed substantial success since joining VW as its motorsport director in 2012, Capito spearheading the manufacturer to three consecutive World Rally Championship titles in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
