WRC Secures Free To Air Coverage
British television station Channel 5 have announced a new agreement to broadcast the 2016 FIA World Rally Championship throughout the year. The public service station will run a highlights programme after every round of the championship starting with Rallye Monte Carlo on Monday January 23rd at 7 p.m. The series has been shown on pay to view television for the last number of years and has also been available for fan to view online via a subscription package. “We are excited to have such a fantastic sports brand to build on our growing portfolio of sports content.' said Director of programmes at Channel 5, Ben Frow.
