Jari-Matti Latvala (Volkswagen Polo R)After a good result in Monte-Carlo, Sweden was Latvala’s chance to throw down the championship gauntlet to Sébastien Ogier. But he was ill-at-ease in the first leg as the Polo R wouldn’t turn in as he wanted. Still, he was less than 3.0sec behind Ogier when he ditched it near the end of SS9 and lost 8min 30sec.
