Sweden WRC: Ogier strikes back, rebuilds gap over Paddon

Sebastien Ogier has nearly doubled his lead over closest rival Hayden Paddon, entering the final two stages of Rally Sweden with a gap of 15.8 seconds. The Volkswagen driver finished both SS14 and SS16 ahead of Paddon but was behind Jari-Matti Latvala in the former, the Finn taking advantage of starting back down the order. Ogier fought back to take his fifth stage win of the rally in SS16 despite briefly losing control of his car and nearly crashing out early on. Mads Ostberg continued his consistent form and cemented his third position, taking advantage of a spin from Andreas Mikkelsen, who maintains fourth.
