Ogier takes control in Mexico
France's triple world champion Sebastien Ogier burst into an early lead on his 100th world rally championship start in Mexico. Unbeaten this year after wins in Monte Carlo and Sweden Ogier captured two of Thursday's three specials, with the 1.09 kilometre opening stage taken by Belgium's Thierry Neuville. Friday features seven specials around historic Guanajuato, a world heritage site with Ogier already a three time winner of the Rally of Mexico.
