Latvala treble extends Mexico advantage over Ogier

Jari-Matti Latvala's hat-trick of stage wins on the morning of day three has enabled him to open up his lead on Sebastian Ogier to over a minute while Thierry Neuville suffered a second stoppage. Starting down the order by virtue of his awful start to the WRC season, which saw him fail to finish in either Monte Carlo or Sweden, Latvala has continued to make his advantageous road position pay to extend his stage win count to eight in Mexico to pull out a 1m 16.3s lead on his Volkswagen Motorsport team-mate Ogier.
