Citroen shows off its 2017 WRC car

French marque Citroen has released pictures of its new C3 WRC contender, which will spearhead the manufacturer's official return to the World Rally Championship in 2017. The C3 WRC, based on the new-for-2017 regulations, replaces the outgoing DS3 WRC, which had won the world title in 2011 and 2012 with rally legend Sebastien Loeb. The new images shown off by Citroen see the car piloted by factory driver Kris Meeke, painted in a camouflage livery. The Briton, who will be one of the works team's drivers in 2017, is doing selected WRC rounds with Citroen's privateer team PH Sport this year, but will skip Poland due to testing commitments.
