Citroen unleashes 2017 challenger with Meeke

In the wake of Volkswagen releasing its initial shots of its 2017 challenger ahead of the World Rally Championship regulations revamp Citroen has turned the wheels on its new car in a private test. The French manufacturer announced at the end of last year it would withdraw its full factory effort from WRC for 2016 in order to concentrate on developing next year's DS3 ahead of the technical regulation changes for more exciting and aggressive cars. Kris Meeke was handed the honour of testing out the new car through grave roads of the Chateau de Lastours test area in France after a shakedown at Citroen's track in Versailles.
