Meeke completes first test of Citroen's 2017-spec car

Citroen has kicked off the testing of its new-generation WRC car with Kris Meeke and Craig Breen in France. The test took place on the gravel roads around Chateau de Lastours and Fontjoncouse and consisted of checking the strength of chassis, bodywork, suspension and gearbox. While Meeke was behind the wheel for three days, Breen drove the car on the fourth one. "It's always exciting to drive a car for the first time," said Meeke. "But this is different, this is the start of a major new programme for Citroen Racing and new era for the WRC. "That's what makes this moment so special.
