Poland WRC: Neuville edges Mikkelsen in Super Special opener

Rally Italy winner Thierry Neuville was quickest in the first WRC stage in Poland, the 2.5 km Mikolajki Arena Super Special. The Belgian and championship leader Sebastien Ogier were the last two main class drivers to take on the stage and Neuville beat previous leader Andreas Mikkelsen by two tenths. Ott Tanak, who finished third in Rally Poland last year, was a further tenth behind, with Ogier rounding out the top four. The Frenchman was followed by his teammate Jari-Matti Latvala and Hayden Paddon, the latter looking to recover from crashes in both of the two previous rounds this weekend.
