Poland WRC: Mikkelsen leads Paddon after Friday morning

The Volkswagen of Andreas Mikkelsen leads Rally Poland after the four Friday morning stages, closely followed by Hyundai's Hayden Paddon. Paddon, whose victory in Argentina has been followed up by two straight retirements, won both the first and the last stage of the morning loop. However, he never held the overall lead as that belonged to Mikkelsen throughout, the Norwegian topping SS3 and placing in the top three in the other runs. With Mikkelsen and Paddon separated by 2.6s, DMACK driver Ott Tanak is just six seconds adrift, the Estonian going quickest in the 21.71km Swietajno stage, the longest one so far.
