Al-Attiyah "lucky" car fire didn't wreck Dakar victory bid
Nasser Al-Attiyah concedes he was lucky his Toyota Hilux caught fire during Dakar 2017's shortest timed stage, which preserved the Qatari's victory chances. Al-Attiyah, who is chasing his third Dakar win, was quickest through the Paraguay-based 39km timed section that opened the 2017 event.
