RX: FIA series open to partner DTM
The FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy has agreed terms with the World Motor Sport Council to hold a 13th round alongside the DTM season-opener at the Hockenheimring over 1-3 May. The Hockenheimring was originally built in 1932 and, as well as being home to the biannual German Grand Prix, has also hosted the DTM since the championship's inaugural season back in 1984, with both the opening and closing rounds taking place there since 2011.
