Sordo cleared for Rally Mexico after injury

Dani Sordo has been given the green light to return to the World Rally Championship in Mexico after his injury earlier this month. The Hyundai driver was forced to miss Rally Sweden after breaking two ribs when he fell off his mountain bike during training in Spain. But the Spaniard has now been cleared to return to action, and will drive one of three Hyundai i20 WRC cars in Rally Mexico next week. "I am really pleased to be rejoining the team for Mexico," said Sordo. "It was the right decision to sit out Sweden and to rest fully.
