Latvala: That was a very important win!
Volkswagen's Jari-Matti Latvala says his victory on Rally de Portugal was “very important” as it draws a line under one of the “most difficult periods of his career”. Latvala led from SS4 on and while he came under pressure from team-mate Sebastien Ogier on the final day, he resisted and eventually beat the Frenchman by 8.2 seconds.
