Paddon receives upgraded Hyundai for Italy

Hayden Paddon is set to receive an upgraded Hyundai i20 WRC machine at Rally Italia Sardegna. The New Zealand driver will get to grips with a steering wheel-mounted paddle shift gearbox which made its debut in the Hyundai rally cars of Thierry Neuville and Dani Sordo at Rally Argentina in April. The Italian round of the FIA World Rally Championship, which is scheduled to run between 11-14 June, will mark a year since Paddon's WRC debut for Hyundai. “We've been driving the older specification car at the moment and there are a few upgrades that we're waiting for,” Paddon told WRC.com. “I'm not complaining, as a third driver at the team it's part of my role. “The focus is on learning...
