Ogier makes it a hat-trick of wins in Sardinia

Volkswagen's Sebastien Ogier made it three wins in succession on Rally Italia Sardegna this weekend, while Hayden Paddon shone in his Hyundai i20 WRC and took second after having led for 15 stages. Ogier started the final day of the sixth round in the 2015 World Rally Championship with a commanding lead and he eventually won by over 3 minutes, bagging the Power Stage win – and the maximum three bonus points – just for good measure. The result extends his lead in the Drivers' Championship from 42 points to 70 and he has now scored more than double that of his nearest rival. “I am very pleased,” said Ogier. “I did not expect this kind of result here.
