Volkswagen chief applauds 'virtually perfect' team

Volkswagen's motorsport director Jost Capito has hailed his team's performance at Rally Poland as 'virtually perfect' in nearly every department. After suffering a sudden and painful event at Rally Argentina back in April, when a faulty engine part from its factory wrecked the races of each of its drivers, the German manufacturer has claimed three consecutive WRC victories while taking six out of a potential nine podium spots. Sebastien Ogier's fine run of form continued by taking the win in Poland after he was pushed all the way by team-mate Andreas Mikkelsen.
