Ford privateer Lorenzo Bertelli is to sit out this weekend's Rallye Deutschland. Bertelli missed some of the recce earlier this week due to illness – suspected food poisoning - and has now had to withdraw. “I'm afraid to say that since I've been sick during recce and I couldn't even complete some stages, I'm forced not to start #RallyGermany,” tweeted the Fiesta RS WRC pilot. “I'm very sorry for all the fans who wanted to cheer us on the stages of #RallyeDeutschland.
