Tänak’s lucky duck survives splashdown
The yellow duck – affectionately called Duck (pictured above) – was strapped to the handbrake of his Ford Fiesta RS and survived 10 hours underwater after her unscheduled dip during Friday’s opening speed test at Rally Guanajuato Mexico. “Ducks are used to living in the water so I’m pretty sure she managed OK. She was wet and dirty and females don’t like that. They enjoy spas and sunshine, so she won’t be going back in the car,” said Tänak. A comfortable retirement in Estonia awaits…..
