Mikkelsen bullish of Rally Sweden victory chances
Volkswagen driver Andreas Mikkelsen says his aim for next month's Rally Sweden is to fight for his second career WRC victory. Mikkelsen led the way in Sweden last year, but missed out on a maiden victory to teammate Sebastien Ogier after spinning during the Power Stage. He has however since picked up a career-first win in Spain – ironically, after Ogier surrendered a comfortable lead by crashing on the Power Stage. And, having now kicked off his season with a second place in Monaco, Mikkelsen is confident of his chances of going one better in the second round.
