Toyota displays 2016Yaris WRC livery Toyota Gazoo Racing unveiled a 2016 livery for its Yaris World Rally Car during its annual motorsport news conference in Japan today (Thursday). WRC team principal Tommi Mäkinen attended the event but no updates were provided on the Yaris WRC, which is being developed at Mäkinen’s premises in Finland. Testing of the car is scheduled to start next month ahead of Toyota’s return to WRC next season. Although there has been no official confirmation from the team, Mikko Hirvonen is expected to conduct much of the early test work.
