RX: Volkswagen commits support to two World Rallycross teams
Volkswagen Sweden are set to support two teams in the upcoming World Rallycross championship, maintaining its relationship with Marklund Motorsport while adding new team Kristofferson Motorsport to its artillery. Marklund Motorsport return for a second season with the backing of Volkswagen and will race in the specially-designed VW Polo RX cars, to be driven by Topi Heikkinen and PG Andersson. The pair will be joined on the World Rallycross grid by Kristofferson Motorsport who are preparing for its debut in the series. Johan Kristofferson will be joined by Tord Linnerud at the team.
