McRae festival celebrates title anniversary
His title-winning Subaru Impreza 555 will headline the McRae Rally Challenge at Knockhill race circuit in Scotland on 16 - 17 May. Other cars include McRae’s original autotesting Mini, Martini-liveried Ford Focus RS WRCs and his first rally car, a Talbot Sunbeam. Up to 15 Group B cars from the 1980s will also attend and many of the exhibits will also be seen in action. The festival will include an invitational rally, bringing together drivers in current machinery and classic rally cars, and a special section for 14-17-year-old rising stars.
