Atkinson to test RallyX car in Sydney

Former works Subaru and Hyundai WRC driver Chris Atkinson will test a Rallycross car at Sydney Motorsport Park on May 1. Atkinson will drive an Olsberg Supercar Lite at the first official test for the newly-formed Sidchrome Extreme Rallycross Championship, joining another former WRC driver, Alistair McRae, who has also confirmed he will take part in the test. "Rallying to me is the ultimate form of motorsport so to combine it with circuit racing is going to be an amazing spectacle for fans and something I’m really keen to sink my teeth into," said Atkinson.
