Hyundai to run new paddle-shift gearbox in Argentina

Hyundai Motorsport has announced it will run a brand new paddle-shift gearbox in the i20 WRC cars of Thierry Neuville and Dani Sordo for the first time at Rally Argentina. The gearshift upgrade is based on a hydraulic system and Hyundai hope it will be more of a comfort to the drivers and improve its cars overall performance. The WRC team has been testing the new gearbox in Spain and are confident the new part will deliver instant gains. The South Korean manufacturer also introduced an engine upgrade at the last WRC round in Mexico. The team will continue to modify the 2015 car for the remainder of the WRC season before launching an all-new i20 for next year. Team principal Michel Nandan...
