Hyundai extends Sordo contract to 2018
Spanish driver Dani Sordo will continue as a Hyundai factory driver in the World Rally Championship for at least a further two years, the team has announced. Sordo, 33, joined Hyundai on a part-time schedule during the marque's return WRC season in 2014 - and was subsequently re-signed for 2015 and 2016. "Hyundai Motorsport has become like a family to me, so I am pleased to extend my contract for two more seasons," Sordo said. "I have had the pleasure of seeing and helping this young team grow into real contenders in just a few years and I am really excited to see where we can develop into the future, especially with the new regulations.
