Dani Sordo extends Hyundai contract till end of 2018 WRC season

Hyundai Motorsport driver Dani Sordo has extended his deal with the Alzenau-based team for a further two years till the end of the 2018 World Rally Championship season. The Spaniard, who has claimed three podiums in the 2016 WRC season, has played a crucial part in the development of the team since its début in 2014. Sordo, along with co-driver Marc Martí were part of Hyundai’s historic 1-2 finish at Rallye Deutschland 2014 where Belgium’s Thierry Neuville claimed Hyundai’s first-ever WRC win there.
