Meeke and Breen for Corsica
Advertising The duo starred in their last WRC outing with the Abu Dhabi Total World Rally Team in Finland in July. Northern Ireland’s Meeke led for almost every kilometre to score his third win in Citroën’s DS 3, while Breen claimed his maiden WRC podium. Breen replaces Stéphane Lefebvre, who was due to drive in Corsica, as the Frenchman continues his recovery from his terrifying accident in Germany last month. It will be Meeke’s fourth Corsica appearance, dating back to 2005, and his first all-asphalt event since the corresponding rally 12 months ago when he finished fourth (below).
