Ogier Forced to Retire from Argentina Rally on opening day

Volkswagen Motorsport have been forced to retire Sébastien Ogier‘s Polo R on SS2 of the XION Argentina Rally 2015 following a technical problem. After setting the pace on SS1 the defending champion experienced an unknown engine issue forcing him to stop mid-stage, bystanders reported that the VW was sounding rought. A short statement from the Volkswagen Motorsport team reads: #Ogier stopped due 2 technical problem. Retired 4 the day, car will be brought to service 4 analysis.
