Sanz reveals "rage" after being led astray by Dakar rival
Dakar Rally regular Laia Sanz has spoken of her "rage" after being led astray by a rival during Thursday's stage. The works KTM rider, who is tackling her sixth Dakar, lost ground during Thursday’s Jujuy-Tupiza stage as she went back on herself after seeking advice from one of her competitors. She lost half an hour in the first waypoint alone as a result of the misdirection, and ended up just over an hour off the pace of stage winner Matthias Walkner at the finish.
