Kris Meeke's Argentina lead shrinks
Although Meeke continues to lead team-mate Mads Ostberg in a Citroen one-two, he was only eighth fastest on leg two's first two stages. He had a spin on the Capilla del Monte to San Marcos test and then drove conservatively on the following San Marcos to Characato test. Ostberg therefore eroded the Northern Irishman's lead from 1m08.4s at the start of the day to just 32.6 seconds after the morning loop. Jari-Matti Latvala holds third, but only by a much-reduced 14s margin thanks to an off on Characato that allowed Dani Sordo to close in.
