Evans Satisfied After Tricky Rally Mexico

M-Sport's Elfyn Evans has said he is happy with his performance he gave on a difficult Rally Guanajuato Mexico. The Welshman's rally was handicapped before it had even begun as engine problems on the Shakedown forced an engine change, which resulted in a five minute penalty. Evans, who drives the DMACK World Rally Team Ford Fiesta WRC, then had to clear the road for the duration of day two, the event's longest day, which restricted his finishing rank even further. In the end he finished ninth overall and secure three stage wins over the course of the event. If the penalty hadn't have been applied he would have finished sixth, ahead of both Toyotas and just nine seconds behind Hayden...
