VW planning full livery demo for canned 2017 WRC car
Volkswagen plans to demonstrate its abandoned 2017 World Rally Car in full livery and Monte Carlo specification for fans in the future. The 2017 Polo R WRC for last year's new rules package was one of the most eagerly-awaited rally cars in history, but it was canned before it was revealed when VW cancelled its WRC programme. VW Motorsport director Sven Smeets says one fully Monte Carlo 2017-spec Polo is sitting ready to go in the team's Hannover factory.
