Toyota delays GT86 CS-R3
Toyota's GT86 CS-R3 rally car will be delayed until October due to an unforeseen technical issue, the company's motorsport arm has confirmed. The rear-wheel-drive car was first announced back in November 2013, with initial delivery to customers planned for this month, but Toyota Motorsport GmbH has now revealed that, despite an intensive test and development programme, the delay has become unavoidable. Although the CS-R3 has performed well during testing, the selection of appropriate power steering has been a recurring difficulty.
