Meeke's Xsara tribute to McRae

Citroën will make its own tribute at the two-day festival commemorating the 20th anniversary of McRae’s title by displaying the Xsara in the livery he carried when driving for the French squad. McRae mentored Meeke during the early days of his career when the Northern Irishman lived in the Scot’s family home near Lanark. When Meeke scored his first WRC victory at XION Rally Argentina last month, the Citroën driver tearfully dedicated the win to McRae after climbing out of his car at the finish of the final live TV Power Stage. “The one guy who did most for me isn’t here to see this.
