Portugal driver report: Part 1
Jari-Matti Latvala (VW Polo R)Victory in Portugal came at just the right time for Latvala (above) who admitted after the event that three no-scores had left him feeling at a low ebb. Okay, he still has less than half the points of his VW team-mate Ogier, but it was another confidence-boosting drive for the Finn who managed to keep out of trouble in the challenging conditions. He saved the best for last however, when he repelled Ogier's attack on Sunday's penultimate test. Impressive stuff.
